Gene Hardwick February 2014 Singer Spotlight

 

Congratulations to Gene Hardwick of Santa Rosa, CA on winning our February 2014 AE Singer Spotlight.  AE gave him a $30 dollar karaoke gift card, either to purchase new music or pay for a monthly karaoke supscription to acess thousands of songs.  Also, he has automatically entered into our Singer Spotlight Of The Year.

 

The winner of the Singer Spotlight Of The Year will receive a $100 karaoke gift card and numerous gift certificates from all of our venues that we host karaoke at.  Winners will be randomly picked by AE Karaoke owner Dennis Anderson and our team of Hosts.

We interviewed Gene and wanted everyone to get to know one of our karaoke customers/singers on what his thoughts on karaoke, him winning and just about him.

(AE) Tell us a little about yourself?

(Gene)My name is Gene Hardwick, i'm 35, and live in Windsor.

(AE) Where is your favorite place or places to sing karaoke?

(Gene) I like to sing karaoke at Quincy's in Rohnert Park, Greenhouse in Sebastopol, Friar Tucks in Cotati, Chrome Lotus in Santa Rosa, and Redwood cafe in Cotati.

(AE) When did you start singing karaoke?

(Gene) I started singing about 3-4 years ago at the Nutty Irishman in Santa Rosa.

(AE) What are you going to do with your gift card, buy new karaoke music and/or put it towards karaoke subscription?
(Gene)  I am going to buy new karaoke music.

(AE) How does singing make you feel?

(Gene) Singing karaoke makes me feel de-stressed.

(AE) How often (days) do you sing karaoke in a week?
(Gene) I sing every 2nd and 4th Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and sometimes Saturday.

(AE) How many hours do you sing karaoke in any given night?
(Gene) Around 2-3 hours.

(AE) What is your most favorite moment singing karaoke?
(Gene) When your singing and the crowd really gets into the song I am singing.

(AE) What is your least favorite moment singing karaoke?
(Gene) I haven't had one yet.

(AE) What determines where you go to sing karaoke?
(Gene) When I sing karaoke it's the host and the crowd that brings me to a karaoke venue.

(AE) If you could make your karaoke venue better, what would that be?
(Gene)  Haven't thought about it, I have fun any place I go.
